Avery Cyan is a photographer from Sammamish, Washington. Their work is primarily made up of 35mm color film and alternative photographic processes like cyanotype and tintype. Robertson regularly explores themes of identity, mental health, and feminist ideologies in their work.

As a student at Western Washington University while pursuing a degree in Urban Sustainability and Political Science they found their passion for art.

Cyan's work is tactile in nature using techniques that are very hands on and involved to incorporate a human element into everything they create.
